Cory L. Dodds is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law. He studies access to justice and rural legal issues.
Cory L. Dodds is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law. He studies access to justice and rural legal issues.
Prof. Dodds is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Public Interest Fellow. He began his career as a legal services attorney representing impoverished clients in rural courts. Most recently, Prof. Dodds represented children and young adults as the directing attorney of the Children's Law Center, Inc.'s Lexington, Kentucky office.
During his first year of college, Prof. Dodds served as a state FFA officer. This experience propelled him to pursue a career of service to rural and agricultural communities.
Prof. Dodds began his career as a legal services attorney, advocating for marginalized people and communities navigating complex legal systems.
During law school, he gained extensive work experience in the federal government, including the White House, U.S. Department of Commerce, and Federal Communications Commission.
Prof. Dodds believes that art and music are important to building mutual understanding across differences. He is an avid fan of country, folk/roots, and live music and is pictured with singer-songwriter S.G. Goodman.
